The average US physician's income rebounded nicely in 2021 as the profession recovered from COVID-19 impacts, but registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) didn't enjoy the same rebound. RNs said their average compensation from salary and bonus rose just 3.6% in 2021, and LPN compensation was flat. The majority of RNs and LPNs said they feel underpaid.
