Case Presentation
A 65-year-old black man with hypertension and hyperlipidemia who is otherwise healthy presents with a nonpruritic rash on his back that has been present, as he says, "for as long as I can remember." These bumps are mostly asymptomatic. There is no history of trauma at the site and no past treatment for these skin lesions.
Physical Examination
The examination shows the patient to be healthy, with a firm, linear subcutaneous plaque studded with multiple open comedones and slight hyperpigmentation on the overlying surface on his left back (Figures 1 and 2).
