Conclusion
Unicondylar TPF is a common orthopaedic injury that requires a comprehensive knowledge of lower-extremity anatomy, a thorough clinical and radiographic evaluation, and an understanding of surgical techniques for appropriate management. Multiple studies have established effective treatment options based on fracture patterns and associated injuries. Further research into long-term outcomes of newer treatment modalities will help guide operative decision making. Technological advancements in plates and screws, imaging, and arthroplasty will further assist in treatment of these complex injuries.
