Wet or Soiled Casts

Completely wet casts can be changed at the next available clinic. Slightly wet casts can be air dried in the sun or dried with a hair dryer. Failure to do so may result in skin irritation, breakdown, and possible infection. Light moisture or spotting may be dried with a hair dryer.[26]
