What are the symptoms of urinary tract infection (UTI) in children older than 6 years and adolescents?

Children older than 6 years and adolescents

School-aged children with UTI can display the following symptoms:

  • Fever

  • Vomiting, abdominal pain

  • Flank/back pain

  • Strong-smelling urine

  • Urinary symptoms (dysuria, urgency, frequency)

  • Enuresis

  • Incontinence
