For most episodes of SIJ pain, oral outpatient analgesics can achieve adequate pain control.

Acetaminophen (Tylenol, FeverAll)

DOC for pain in patients with documented hypersensitivity to aspirin or NSAIDs, with upper GI disease, or who are taking oral anticoagulants.
