Answer

Multiple autoantibodies are associated with Sjögren syndrome. [64] In a study in which atypical autoantibodies were evaluated in 82 patients with primary Sjögren syndrome, an immunologic overlap (defined by the presence of autoantibodies typical of other systemic autoimmune diseases) was evident in 20% of the patients. The clinical significance of these atypical autoantibodies varied widely. [65]
