A study by Vírseda-Chamorro et al indicated that in performing a urodynamic exam in patients with an SCI above T6, independent risk factors for sudden onset of autonomic dysreflexia consist of patient age of 45 years or above and a maximum detrusor voiding pressure of 31 cm H2O or above. [18]
