Answer

Case reports have raised the possibility of the use of hormonal therapy in the management of recurrent granulose-theca cell tumors. Responses to medroxyprogesterone acetate, gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists, and megestrol (Megace) have all been reported in a small number of patients with progressive disease not responsive to chemotherapy.
