Early in the outbreak, concerns emerged about nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) potentially increasing the risk of adverse effects in individuals with COVID-19. However, in late April, the WHO took the position that NSAIDS do not increase the risk of adverse events or affect acute healthcare utilization, long-term survival, or quality of life. [130]
