The 2008 DHHS Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans includes target activity levels for children and adolescents (ages 6 to 17 years), adults (ages 18 to 64), older adults (ages 65 and above), as well as individuals with disabilities or medical conditions and pregnant and postpartum women.
