Aortorenal angiography can be helpful in establishing the diagnosis of renal vascular diseases, including the following:

  • Renal artery stenosis

  • Renal atheroembolic disease

  • Atherosclerosis with aortorenal occlusion

  • Certain cases of necrotizing vasculitis (eg, polyarteritis nodosa)
