Answer

Answer

Combination chemotherapy regimens vary and include the following:

  • Rituximab, cyclophosphamide, vincristine, prednisone (R-CVP) [7]
  • Rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, prednisone (R-CHOP) [8]
  • Fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, rituximab (FCR)
  • Rituximab, fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, mitoxantrone (R-FCM)
  • Fludarabine, rituximab (FR)
  • Bendamustine, rituximab (BR)
  • Lenalidomide (Revlimid), rituximab (R 2, R-squared)

Rituximab has been evaluated as maintenance chemotherapy in patients with follicular lymphoma after initial chemotherapy. In a large European study, rituximab given every 2 months for 2 years increased disease-free survival, but not overall survival. [47]
