Answer

Answer

Ultrasonography of the kidneys can be used to exclude other causes of postrenal or obstructive uropathy (eg, nephrolithiasis), while computed tomography (CT) scanning can be used to exclude renal medullary carcinoma in patients presenting with hematuria. The risk of radiocontrast nephropathy in patients with SCN is similar to that of the general population. [26]
