Answer

Answer

Trabeculectomy can be performed simultaneously with other procedures such as cataract surgery, keratoplasty, and vitrectomy if warranted by the clinical situation. The most common combination is trabeculectomy with cataract surgery because of the high incidence of cataracts in patients with glaucoma.
