Answer

Answer

Trabeculectomy can be performed under local anesthesia (retrobulbar, peribulbar, subconjunctival, or topical) or general anesthesia depending on patient and surgeon preference, on the patient's general health status, and on the estimated duration of the procedure for that particular case.
