The following physical findings may be noted:

  • Skin - Pallor
  • Neurovascular - Decreased cognitive ability
  • Eyes - Pale conjunctivae
  • Cardiovascular - Orthostatic hypotension, tachyarrhythmias
  • Pulmonary - Tachypnea
  • Abdomen - Ascites, hepatosplenomegaly
